Access to Recovery (ATR) is a joint venture between the Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) and the Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI). The purpose of Access to Recovery is to increase the capacity to serve adults that are in need of addiction recovery services.
Access to Recovery is a client choice program that provides vouchers for qualified adults to access drug and alcohol addiction services. Vouchers can be provided to assist with supportive services such as: transportation, childcare, employment, substance abuse, parenting, housing assistance, GED, clinical services, and alcohol and drug screening.
Access to Recovery services are available for adults that are at or below 200% of the poverty guidelines that reside in Vanderburgh, Vigo and Marion counties. Methamphetamine users, women that are pregnant and/or have dependent children and adults that are transitioning from the criminal justice system are the targeted populations.
Volunteers of America of Indiana, through the Access to Recovery grant, provides Recovery Consultation and Clinical Recovery Support Services in the following counties: Marion, Vanderburgh and Vigo.
